System Engineer II

Job Title :Business Application Systems Engineer | System Engineer II

• Support, maintain, and enhance ERP platforms and core financial systems, including General Ledger, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Revenue Recognition, Billing, and connected systems.
• Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Revenue, Tax, and Audit teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable system designs and solutions.
• Design, configure, and deliver ERP enhancements across the full lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and postgolive support.
• Lead and contribute to ERP integrations between financial systems and adjacent platforms such as CRM, HRIS, Data Warehouses, and third party vendors.
• Utilize integration platforms (iPaaS) to build, monitor, and support reliable, secure, and auditable system interfaces.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex ERP, integration, and data issues, ensuring accuracy of financial data and system reliability.
• Participate in Agile delivery
  , including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release management for ERP and finance-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business system analysts, developers, and project managers to evaluate technical options and deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, integration documentation, and operational runbooks to support system integrity, audit readiness, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve processes, data quality, operational efficiency, and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications.
• Interface with third-party software vendors to elevate and resolve integration and software/technical issues.
• Maintain pulse on emerging tools, software practices, and technologies to improve solution cost and quality.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required
• A minimum of8-10years of experience working in an IT environment
• At least6-8years of experience as a developer and/or system engineer
• Experience leading complex projects/tasks
  • Experience with database deployments, schema changes, maintenance planning, data integrity checks, and supporting production and audit needs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues across ERP, integrations, and reporting layers.
• Experience in full project life cycle development for systems and applications
• Experience integrating and customizing business applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability tocollaborateeffectively with team members at all levels, from junior developers to senior managers and business customers
• A strong desireto learn the latest technologies and the ability toacquireknowledge quickly
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills

• Experience supporting enterprise ERP systems (e.g., financial modules, order management, billing, revenue, procurement).
• Strong proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, XML, event-based integrations, and data transformation patterns.
• Experience with IPass solutions such as Power Automate,UIPath, Mule Soft, Boomi, and IBMApp Connect
• Hands on experience and knowledge of DBA tasks, including deployment maintenance planning, string manipulation, and authoring SQL statements
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Power Platform, Power Automate, and related services is a plus. Experience with Enterprise Applications Production support ( On Prem and SaaS )
• Experience with Power Shell or similar scripting tools to support automation, deployments, and operational support.
