Bioinformatics, NGS, Variant Data Analysis, Python, AWS and Terraform / AWS CDK
Job description:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3 years Bioinformatics experience with Bachelor's or 1 year with Master's.
- Strong NGS and sequencing data analysis experience.
- Hands-on variant analysis and genomic data processing.
- Advanced Python scripting/programming skills.
- Experience with Nextflow
, Cromwell, CWL, or similar workflow engines. - Experience with DRAGEN, BWA, VEP, FastQC, MultiQC, Samtools, Bedtools
. - Strong AWS cloud, Docker, Git and CI/CD experience.
- Experience developing REST/JSON APIs, databases and bioinformatics applications
. - Experience with R, Jupyter, R Markdown and data visualization is preferred.
- Clinical diagnostics /
CAP-CLIA regulated environment experience is a plus.
