Culpepper & Associates Security Services is seeking Armed Security Officers to work at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library.
Job DescriptionArmed Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the employees and visitors. Applicants must be flexible and able to work various shifts as needed and have professional etiquette and be able to interact with employees and visitors in a courteous and respectful manner.
Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and security of all visitors, employees and facility.
- Monitor for signs of unusual activity.
- Report any security breaches or illegal activity.
- Conduct routine security checks to prevent vandalism and theft.
- Respond to emergencies.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a criminal background investigation, physical and drug screening in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. All at the company’s expense.

QualificationsSuccessful candidates:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must possess at least a HS diploma or GED.
- Must have three (3) years of security experience within the last five (5) years. Security experience consists of law enforcement, contract security, or military police.
- Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write the English language.

- Must have a current CPR/first aid and AED certification.
- Must have a current California exposed weapons permit (9MM caliber)/ current guard card and expandable baton permit.
