York School Department is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and dedicated Educational Technician to join our Special Education team. In this role, you will work alongside certified Special Education Teachers and related service providers to support students with diverse learning and developmental needs.

Instructional Support: Provide one-on-one and small-group academic reinforcement in reading, math, and general classroom assignments under the guidance of the Special Education Teacher.

Behavioral & Executive Functioning Support: Assist students in using positive behavioral strategies, staying organized, managing classroom transitions, and utilizing visual schedules or self-regulation tools.

Inclusion & Accommodations: Help implement accommodations and modifications outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within both general education classrooms and specialized learning spaces.

Data Collection: Assist teachers by tracking student progress on specific academic, behavioral, and functional goals using straightforward observation logs.

Collaboration: Partner with teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and school counselors to maintain a safe, encouraging learning environment.
