We're hiring a  
** Lead Industrial Baker
** for a client operating in a specialized, high-volume production environment in York County. This position offers  **$60K+
** and is  
** temp-to-hire** , providing a strong pathway to long-term placement with a  
** growing New England producer known for premium, small-batch goods.*
* This is a  
** hands-on leadership role
** focused on driving consistency, efficiency, quality, and sustainability across  
** batch-based production and thermal processing operations
** in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

** Typical daily duties:*
* + Oversee production flow including batching, processing, conditioning, and thermal production schedules to meet daily output targets

+ Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards; maintain temperature logs, sanitation records, and production documentation

+ Investigate product variances, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventative actions to reduce waste

+ Conduct quality checks including visual inspections and product evaluations for texture, structure, and finish consistency

+ Train and support production staff on process techniques, equipment use, and food safety protocols

+ Monitor and calibrate production equipment (mixers, processing systems, thermal units) to ensure proper operating conditions

+ Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and new product/ingredient rollouts

* What we're looking for:

* + Experience in batch-based food production, fermentation processes, and quality-controlled manufacturing

+ High school diploma or equivalent; ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

+ HACCP and/or PCQI certifications strongly preferred

+ Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work flexible 1st/2nd shifts in a production-focused environment
