• Role responsibilities: As a Med Surg RN, you’ll assess patient conditions, administer medications and IV therapies, monitor vital signs, manage post-operative care, and implement care plans in collaboration with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams. You’ll perform wound care, manage IV access, assist with diagnostic procedures, and contribute to discharge planning to support seamless transitions home. Documentation will be accurate and timely in the electronic health record, with a focus on patient safety, quality measures, and evidence-based practice.
  
  You’ll participate in rounding with the care team, contribute to infection control initiatives, and engage in quality improvement projects to elevate unit performance.
