Location: York, Maine
Pay Rate: $86/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Total Working Hours per week: 40

About the Role
We are hiring a Nursing Director to oversee inpatient care services, including medical/surgical units and ICU operations. This role is responsible for nursing leadership, patient care quality, safety, staffing oversight, and daily operational performance across inpatient nursing departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for medical/surgical units and ICU.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered nursing care.
- Manage nursing services using sound human resource and financial management practices.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family care.
- Implement and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assume 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care activities and service operations.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Master's degree in nursing preferred.
- Active Maine Registered Nurse license or Compact RN license required.
- License must be current and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- BLS/BCLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Specialty and leadership certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, quality, safety, and operational management skills required.
