Overview
Registered Nurse – CCU in York, Maine.
Start date:
07/06/2026 for a 13‑week travel assignment.
Weekly pay range: $1,977–$2,056.
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
Shift: 3x12‑hour nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am).
Setting: hospital ICU/CCU.

- Start date:
07/06/2026 - Setting: hospital CCU
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the CCU, including monitoring vital signs, hemodynamics, and response to treatment.
- Administer medications, ventilator support, vasoactive infusions, and other ICU therapies per physician orders; titrate as directed.
- Operate and assess life‑sustaining equipment (ventilators, monitors, lines, drains) and ensure proper device function and safety.
- Conduct frequent patient assessments, interpret telemetry, detect early signs of deterioration, and accelerate to the care team promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacists, and other disciplines; participate in rounding and care planning; ensure accurate handoffs to the next shift.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and uphold infection control and patient safety standards.
- No on‑call required; may require variable shifts as staffing needs dictate.
- Active Maine RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in CCU/ICU settings preferred
- Influenza vaccination required by the State of Maine
- Ability to work nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am) and adapt to potential shift variability
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- 13‑week contract with travel assignment
- Support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC staff throughout the assignment
- Clear onboarding and credentialing processes aligned with Medefis requirements
- Comprehensive timekeeping and shift scheduling guidance to avoid pay issues
- Realistic, on‑the‑ground supervision and clinical collaboration to support high‑quality patient care
