Join a highly respected Medical Surgical team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN who is passionate about delivering quality patient outcomes and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Requirements- Active RN License
- Minimum recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Previous Medical Surgical experience is mandatory
- BLS/BCLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- No call required
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling not available
- Must be flexible to meet unit scheduling needs
- Compliance with all facility and state requirements.
- Influenza vaccination is required in accordance with State of Maine regulations.
- Consistent 36-hour work week
- No call responsibilities
