ICU RN
Shift: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am;
May require variable shifts
Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed
Hours:
36 hours per week
Requirements:
- Active Maine nursing license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while ensuring patient safety.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.
- Document nursing care and patient progress in the medical records accurately.
Compliance / Notes:
- Influenza vaccination is mandated by the state.
- Timecards must be filled out properly to avoid rejection and processing delays.
