Schedule:
Variable shift: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm; 11:00 am to 11:30 pm; times may vary based on census.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dedicated ED team. This position offers a wonderful opportunity to provide exceptional care while enjoying the scenic beauty of the Maine coastline nearby. The role includes charge responsibilities, allowing experienced RNs to lead and mentor within the emergency department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Oversee and manage patient flow and emergency care processes.
- Assist in triage and assessment of patients to determine treatment needs.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in precepting new staff and nurses as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the State of Maine.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- PALS certification is a plus.
- Preferred experience in charge nurse roles and as a preceptor.
