Securitas Lonza is hiring a Full-Time Supervisor for our Newington, NH security team. A security supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of security guards, ensuring the safety and security of a facility by monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, training staff on security protocols, and coordinating with law enforcement, when necessary, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Our ideal candidate is former/current military, former law enforcement, or from a security background. Managerial and security experience is preferred, but we are happy to teach, train and mentor individuals with little experience.

Starting $23.00/hr

Surday & Sunday 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday - Wednesday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

40 hrs/week

• Performs the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.
• Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); ensures post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and proper reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and clients in emergency situations.
• Counsels and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Assists in the training of Security Officers and review of post orders.
• Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designed.
• In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives, ensures adequate security coverage of all posts.
• Prepares files and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• As assigned, carries out lead or supervisory duties in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, which may include interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and making hiring and termination recommendations.

High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Standard computer/technology skills
• Previous military and/or law enforcement experience a plus
• Reliable, accountable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Conflict resolution & de-escalation skills preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Professional interaction with a wide range of individuals
• Ability to conduct foot and/or mobile patrols during various weather conditions
• Alertness and attention to detail
