As an Estimator, you'll play a critical role in helping Klute secure and successfully execute projects by preparing accurate and competitive project estimates.
You'll:
- Review project plans, specifications, and customer requirements
- Analyze material, labor, and production costs
- Prepare detailed project estimates and proposals
- Communicate with customers to clarify project requirements
- Organize and maintain project and quote information
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids

Requirements KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS and ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 1 – 3 years
Who Thrives in This Role?We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with numbers and technical information
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Curious and motivated to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication via email/phone calls
- Interested in building a long-term career in estimating and project management
- Experience in cost estimating, construction, manufacturing, steel fabrication, or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other business software
- Knowledge of structural steel, steel fabrication, or construction processes is helpful but not required
- Extended Sitting and working on the computer; standing and/or walking
