Location:

Chicago, IL or Omaha, NE, or remote with travel depending on the candidate.

Compensation:
Up to $155K base + 15% Bonus opportunity + 9% 401k match + Full Relocation!

Responsibilities

• As the engineering subject matter expert you will provide strategic governance for key initiatives across the manufacturing platform.
• You will identify, develop, and manage the rollout of continuous improvement and maintenance programs
• Use subject matter expertise in assigned areas, 3rd party engineering, and OEMs to develop labor-reducing / cost-saving automation projects.
• Provide technical and economic feasibility analysis
• Lead machine design improvements and modifications to equipment
• Assist with the design and management of Control Logic and Motion Controls
• Ensure that existing technology is current with state-of-the-art technology and commercial applications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Mechanical / Robotics / Packaging.
• 8+ years in manufacturing with 2+ years in Food Manufacturing
• Ability to develop and implement automation/robotic solutions
• Project Engineering and project execution experience
• Ability to implement continuous improvement applications in engineering design.
• Practical experience with Packaging Equipment Engineering
• Travel 30% - 60%
