  • Design and configure I/O architectures, including local and distributed I/O
  • Build complete HMI projects using Factory Talk View and Factory Talk Optix
  • Configure alarms, historian trending, user access, and remote connectivity
  • Design and commission Ether Net/IP networks, VFDs, remote I/O, and smart instrumentation
  • Lead pre-shipment testing to ensure equipment meets Cyclonaire and customer requirements
  • Serve as the technical lead during onsite commissioning, including I/O checkout, sequence validation, troubleshooting, and customer handover
  • Work directly with customers during software design reviews, installation, commissioning, and service activities
  • Help develop and maintain Cyclonaire automation standards and work instructions
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Controls Programmer 1 team members
What You’ll Bring Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Automation, or a related technical field plus 3-5 years of industrial controls programming experience, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated practical experience
  • Independent proficiency with Allen-Bradley Studio 5000
  • Experience with Factory Talk View SE/ME and Factory Talk Optix
  • Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 programming languages, including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram
  • Experience with SCADA systems, Ether Net/IP networks, VFD configuration, and industrial instrumentation
  • Practical experience with electromechanical process controls, electrical power distribution, network integration, and HMI software
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements, OSHA standards, and applicable NEC/NFPA/UL design codes
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and technical decisions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Professional communication skills and confidence working directly with customers
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20-35%
