In this role, you will ensure accurate coding, claim processing, and insurance verification while serving as an important resource for both providers and patients.

What You ll Do:
- Review and analyze patient records to assign accurate ICD and CPT codes.
- Process insurance claims and verify required information for timely reimbursement.
- Investigate, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims.
- Coordinate with providers and clinic staff regarding coding questions and documentation needs.
- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Complete e-dispense forms accurately and within required timelines.
- Participate in coding quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with current coding guidelines and regulations.
- Protect patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards.
What You ll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical office experience, with some knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with providers and staff.
- Bonus Points
for experience with ICD and CPT coding, previous claims processing or medical billing experience, familiarity with electronic health records and healthcare software systems.
