What You Will Do- Use a variety racking methods to process parts.
- Prepare parts for shipment to customers.
- Perform machine setup and runs on annealing furnaces and degreasers.
- Cleaning, racking and heat treating of components
- Read, interpret, and comprehend, process prints, engineering and quality standards, and other informational drawings and work instructions.
- Monitor part specific dimensional tolerances while performing the operation & identify non-conforming part features
- Maintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.)
- Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunities
- Follow work priorities to accomplish production goals
- Can handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, and oils (petroleum-based products) and chemical vapors from products during the normal manufacturing
- Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s)
- Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned
- 3rd shift:
Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:00am
- Set-up and operation of annealing furnaces and degreasers.
- Reading/interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Cross-functional collaboration through various types of manufacturing and processes.
- Gain experience with a variety of inspection equipment.
- Typically requires HS diploma or equivalent or in the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience.
- Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and other job-specific applications).
- Experience with measurement equipment, i.e. gauges, calipers, etc.
- Experience with basic hand tools.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.
