Location: York, NE
Pay: $19.00/hour
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
- Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 PM-6:30 AM
What You'll Do
This position offers a variety of responsibilities throughout the year based on seasonal production needs including:
- Harvest operations and crop processing
- Receiving and unloading crop deliveries
- Seed drying, shelling, storage and treatment
- Packaging, labeling, bagging and palletizing seed
- Warehouse operations and inventory management
- Shipping and receiving activities
- Forklift operation (when trained and authorized)
- Cleaning, painting and facility upkeep
- Assisting with equipment maintenance and plant operations
- Following safety and quality procedures at all times
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and seasonal workloads
- Good communication skills
- Ability to make sound decisions and work safely
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work overtime and extended hours during peak seasons
- Steel-toed, over-the-ankle work boots (employee provided)
- Long pants (jeans preferred)
- Sleeved shirt
- Additional safety equipment provided on-site
- Agricultural production and warehouse setting
- Exposure to corn dust, corn pollen and weed pollen
- Forklift and equipment operation
- Seasonal duties that change throughout the year
