• Shift: 3rd shift Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 pm – 07:00 am
• External candidates eligible for $3,500 sign on bonus.

• Perform machine setup and runs on surface grinders and mills.
• Read, interpret, and comprehend engineering and quality standards, and other informational drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor tooling for wear and usage, changing and setting tools as needed.
• Monitor part specific dimensional tolerances while performing the operation & identify non-conforming part features.
• Maintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.).
• Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Follow work priorities to accomplish production goals.
• Handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, and oils (petroleum based products) and chemical vapors from products during normal manufacturing.
• Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s).
• Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

• Precision surface grinding and other CNC equipment operation as required.
• Cross-functional collaboration through various types of manufacturing and processes.
• Experience with inspection equipment.

• High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of two years experience.
• Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and other job-specific applications).
• Experience with measurement equipment, i.e., gauges, calipers, etc.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and grinders.
• Experience maintaining tight tolerances.
