Job Title: Emergency Department Physician Assistant – Regular Part Time (RPT)

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Emergency Department team. In this fast‑paced role, you will provide critical care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform comprehensive medical screening exams on patients of all ages.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate therapies.
- Provide wound care including suturing, incision and drainage, and splinting.
- Manage minor orthopedic emergencies such as joint dislocations and fractures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff in patient care.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow‑up care.
- Admit patients requiring inpatient care and coordinate specialty referrals as needed.
What You Need:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an ARC‑PA accredited PA program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Nebraska.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Certification in either NRP or PALS.
- Proof of having "monitored" an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course (required for Emergency Department coverage).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in an acute care setting.
