• Provide nursing care to residents including medication administration, treatments, information collection, and documentation within an LPN scope of practice
• Monitor and identify changes in residents' conditions – medical, physical, behavioral, psycho‑social needs, and moods; initiate conversations with Nurse Coordinators, House Supervisors, Physicians, and families
• Supervise nursing staff as assigned; lead by example, provide education, direction, and monitor Medication Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Dining Assistants
• Report accidents, incidents, and unusual occurrences to supervisor; document as appropriate
• Document and communicate professionally, thoroughly, timely, precisely, and appropriately; notify appropriate parties as indicated
• Serve as a team leader and liaison with Activity Director, Social Work, Dietary, Therapy, Environmental Services, and other departments; problem‑solve and address residents' concerns for quality‑of‑life issues, especially in the absence of the Nurse Coordinators

• Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and sound judgement
• Graduation from an accredited school for Practical Nursing or equivalent; current license in the State of Nebraska
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Ability to provide care for and develop rapport with aged residents and display genuine interest in nursing and care for frail elderly
