York General is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional surgical care close to home in our rural community. In this role, you’ll be part of a skilled surgical team supporting elective and emergent procedures, while providing direct patient care in the Operating Room (OR), Outpatient Surgery (OPS), and Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

What You’ll DoAs a Surgery RN, you will use the nursing process to provide high‑quality perioperative care to patients whose needs may be complex due to surgical or invasive procedures.
- Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, IV therapy, and treatments
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and families
- Document all aspects of perioperative care accurately (OPS, OR, PACU, counts, specimens, and charges)
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure a safe surgical environment
- Monitor and ensure safe use of equipment and supplies for both patients and staff
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient‑focused approach
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality care
