We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Accounting, Tax, and Finance team through a variety of general accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional with strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include account reconciliations, financial analysis, fixed asset accounting, general ledger activity, month-end and year-end close support, and preparation of financial statements and tax-related work papers.

This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction. This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day general accounting activities.

• Performing financial analyses and account reconciliations.

• Maintaining fixed asset records and ledgers including setup, depreciation, and disposal.

• Recording and posting general ledger entries, as necessary.

• Supporting the Controller and Assistant Controller with month-end and year-end closing process including accurate and timely production of monthly financial and management reporting.

• Assisting with tax compliance related to applicable statutory requirements, including but not limited to federal, state, and local income, real and personal property, franchise, value-added, sales/use and other taxes in all jurisdictions in which the Company operates.
