Are you an accounting professional with strong Excel skills and experience supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their team. Responsibilities:

+ Process high-volume accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.

+ Generate customer invoices and support accounts receivable activities, including cash application and collections follow-up.

+ Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.

+ Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account activity.

+ Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

+ Utilize Excel to analyze data, create reports, reconcile accounts, and track financial information.

+ Prepare and update spreadsheets using formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and other advanced Excel functions.

+ Assist with month-end close processes, reporting, and special accounting projects.

+ Collaborate with internal departments regarding billing, payment, and account inquiries.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping experience.

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analysis.

+ Experience working with ERP or accounting software.

+ Knowledge of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.

+ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

+ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

+ Professional communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
