Yorkview Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Admissions Assistant to support our admissions team and help ensure a smooth intake process for new residents. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in healthcare administration while contributing to a positive resident and family experience.

Part-Time | 20 Hours Per Week

The Admissions Assistant provides administrative and coordination support for the admissions process. This role focuses on managing paperwork, communicating with referral sources and families, and ensuring timely, accurate intake processes.

• Assist with processing incoming referrals and organizing admission documentation
• Communicate with hospitals, families, and internal departments to coordinate admissions
• Prepare admission packets and ensure all required paperwork is complete
• Support scheduling of admissions and facility tours
• Maintain accurate records of referrals and admissions activity
• Provide general administrative support to the admissions and clinical teams
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, and referral partners

• One (1) year of administrative, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Interest in healthcare or long-term care is a plus
