Shop/Headquarters based in York PA. Projects within 1.5 radius of York PA.
40-55 hours a week.
1.5x on Saturday
2x on Sunday
SummaryThis is a General Contractor based out of York PA. The pipe layer will be assigned to the Civil Construction Division working on new construction projects in York, Carlisle, and Lancaster PA. Overtime will be given, weekend work is NOT mandatory, but incentives are offered if working Saturday or Sunday. This opening with this reputable, well-known General Contractor is bringing Aerotek contractors on permanently once working 90-days on contract through Aerotek.
Responsibilities- Preparing the ground and digging trenches.
- Assembling, connecting, and constructing utility lines and pipe systems.
- Aligning pipes and sealing joints with cement or glue.
- Following blueprints.
- Cutting pipes and using power tools provided on site.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Works well with a team
- Able to lift up to 75lbs
- Steel toe boots

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
