Mobile School - Dental Reception Specialist

Family First Health is seeking an organized, energetic, and customer-focused Mobile School Dental Reception Specialist to join our growing Mobile School Dental Program.

In this unique role, you'll help deliver dental care directly to children in local schools by coordinating patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and event logistics. As a member of our Mobile School Dental Team, you'll work alongside dedicated dental professionals who share a passion for improving access to care throughout our community.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate scheduling and patient registration for Mobile School Dental events.
  • Prepare patient packets, consent forms, and event materials.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and accurately enter patient information into the electronic health record.
  • Partner with school nurses and staff to coordinate successful mobile dental events.
  • Travel to schools to manage patient check-in, registration, and paperwork during events.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding appointments, insurance, and treatment follow-up.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting children, families, schools, and fellow team members.
  • Provide administrative support to our dental clinics during periods when mobile events are not scheduled.

Required
  • High School Diploma or GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience
  • One (1) year of customer service, healthcare, or dental office experience, or an equivalent combination of experience.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel between Family First Health locations and Mobile School Dental event sites.
Preferred
  • Dental front desk or healthcare registration experience.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and patient registration processes.
  • Experience using Dentrix Enterprise or other electronic health record systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
