York Suburban School District is looking to hire a Part-Time Paraprofessional for the school year!
TITLE:
Part-Time Elementary Paraprofessional
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would qualify.
- High School diploma required
- Meet one of the paraprofessional competency training requirements below:
- Two years of post-secondary education coursework (48 college credits)
- Highly Qualified Special Education Certificate through PDE or passing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE) Test
- Possess the ability to obtain highly qualified status through educational opportunities provided within the timeline of the district
- Prior experience working with students with disabilities
- Must have obtained (or will obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks (Use code 1KG6XN) within the last twelve (12) months
REPORTS TO:
Building Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Annual salary, work schedule and other conditions of employment in accordance with the York Suburban Educational Support Personnel Association negotiated agreement.
