Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. High School diploma required Meet one of the highly qualified status requirements below:
Two years of post-secondary education coursework or Highly Qualified Special Education Certificate through PDE or Passing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE) Test or Possess the ability to obtain highly qualified status through educational opportunities provided within the timeline of the district. Prior experience working with students with disabilities Must have obtained (or will obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks (use code 1KG6XN) within the last twelve (12) months
