Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Corporate Risk Management Adjunct Faculty to teach an online section of RMI
335 (Corporate Risk Management) during the spring 2027 semester. The instructor will deliver engaging and practical instruction aligned with industry standards. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, facilitating class discussions, assessing student performance, and supporting learners in achieving academic success. The ideal candidate will bring corporate risk management experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student learning. Other undergraduate and/or graduate risk management or finance classes may be available in the future if interested.
Hiring an adjunct faculty member to teach RMI
335 (Corporate Risk Management) and possibly other risk management or finance courses.
- Teach online RMI
335 (Corporate Risk Management) class in spring 2027. May also have opportunities to teach other undergraduate and/or graduate classes in the future. The specific courses will vary from semester to semester and the availability of courses to teach depends on the needs of the GSB. - Prepare course materials, assess student performance, and provide timely feedback to students.
- Communicate effectively with and support students, which includes making use of our learning management system.
- Adjunct faculty who are teaching courses are required to hold one office hour each week, which will be held online in the case of online classes.
Master's degree in Finance or a closely related field (doctorate preferred).
RequiredSkills and Qualifications
- Professional corporate risk management experience required.
- Prior teaching or training experience at the college level strongly preferred (online instruction experience, especially).
