Special Education - Behavioral Intervention
This position is located within a secure facility and requires the ability to work effectively in a highly structured environment. The team member will work collaboratively with JDC staff, Central York staff, and LIU staff to support the educational needs of the students within the program. The position requires a dedication to maintaining a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment while navigating the unique behavioral and situational challenges of a detention setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid PA Teaching Certificate:
Special Education PK - 12 - Experience with students with special needs (preferred)
Terms of Employment:
Full-time, 190 days/year (follows the traditional school year schedule)
Salary:
As of 7/1/2026:
Bachelors minimum: $62,011.15. Master's degree up to 44 credits starting at $66,511.15 (higher placement available for master's degrees with 45+ credits), plus excellent benefits.
