City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and small-group academic support in partnership with teachers
• Mentor and build positive relationships with students to support social-emotional growth
• Track and report student progress using established tools and data systems
• Support school-wide initiatives, events, and family engagement activities
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development sessions
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team to plan and deliver student interventions
• Model positive behavior and reinforce classroom expectations
• Assist with attendance outreach and homework help
• Communicate regularly with school staff about student needs and successes
• Demonstrate commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusive learning
