City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and small-group academic support in math and English/language arts
• Build positive, consistent relationships as a mentor and role model for students
• Support teachers with classroom activities, behavior reinforcement, and learning routines
• Track and report student progress using data and established tools
• Engage in school-wide events, family outreach, and community service projects
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development sessions
