**** The Opportunity
** Join Hitachi Energy and play a key role in driving quality excellence across our manufacturing processes. In the
** Quality Engineer
** role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives.
** Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
**** How You’ll Make an Impact
*** Collaborate with manufacturing teams to meet customer-specific quality requirements.
* Analyze customer feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
* Monitor and evaluate risk mitigation measures for manufacturing processes.
* Maintain and update PFMEA to track and minimize risks.
* Interpret quality data and recommend process improvements.
* Support Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement initiatives.
* Conduct root cause analysis using tools like 5 Whys and fishbone diagrams.
* Provide training on process performance monitoring and improvement.
* Performing onsite quality audits
* Support daily quality functions at the assembly units
* Ability to travel 50% to local assembly units
** Your Background
*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations or related field.
* Experience in quality processes and SAP Quality Module.
* Prior experience with SAP S4/HANA systems.
* Knowledge of quality management concepts and industry standards.
* Certification or experience in problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Ability to address quality issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
