Project Manager - Substations

Hiring a Substation Project Manager to oversee medium and high voltage substation construction and upgrade projects. This position will manage technical execution, safety, scheduling, and financial performance for utility and energy clients.

• Manage substation construction projects including greenfield builds, expansions, and retrofit work
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
• Oversee installation of transformers, breakers, relay panels, steel, bus, and foundations
• Act as primary point of contact with utility clients, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets
• Manage RFIs, change orders, and progress reporting
• Enforce strict safety and quality standards across all job sites

• 7+ years of experience in substation or high voltage electrical construction
• Strong understanding of substation equipment and construction sequencing
• Experience managing subcontractors and self perform crews
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and civil drawings
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required

• Utility or EPC project experience
• Experience with energized work and outage coordination
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred
