T&D Field Superintendents

We are seeking up to 10 experienced Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Field Superintendents with strong heavy distribution experience to support major utility infrastructure projects. Underground distribution experience is a significant plus. While some transmission work will be involved, the majority of responsibilities will focus on distribution.

This is a field-based leadership role responsible for driving safe, timely, and profitable project execution.

• Lead daily field construction activities for T&D projects
• Oversee high voltage transmission lines, steel and wood structures, drilled piers, grounding, substations, and related systems
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure contractual compliance
• Drive project safety, productivity, materials management, and scheduling
• Conduct site audits, review PTAs and TSOs, and enforce safety standards
• Complete daily field reports and progress documentation (including photos)
• Coordinate 3-week look-ahead planning with subcontractors
• Review and maintain as-built drawings and assist with RFIs
• Verify material deliveries, storage, and preventive maintenance
• Oversee QA/QC processes including welder qualifications and equipment alignment
• Develop punch lists and ensure compliance with drawings/specifications
• Manage field change orders and ensure execution of project scope
• Interface with clients, A/E representatives, and other contractors

• Strong background in heavy distribution construction
• Transmission experience preferred
• Underground utility experience highly preferred
• Experience supervising subcontractors and craft labor
• Strong knowledge of high voltage systems and substation work
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs
• Proven track record of leading projects safely and efficiently
