Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager – Facilities to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of facility construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will partner with Facilities Engineering & Maintenance, Operations, IT, Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE), Security, and external vendors to support manufacturing, engineering, and office environments. This position requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and technical expertise to successfully manage mission-critical projects while minimizing disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define project requirements
- Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations during project execution
- Facilitate permitting and regulatory approvals as required
Capital Project Management
- Lead capital improvement projects including facility expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and renovations
- Track budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against approved capital plans
- Prepare project justifications, funding requests, and financial reports
- Implement cost control measures and manage change orders
Design & Construction Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Lead design reviews to ensure alignment with company standards and operational needs
- Manage RFP processes, contractor selection, and contract administration
- Monitor construction progress and ensure quality and compliance
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and building codes
- Partner with SHE teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Enforce contractor adherence to safety and security protocols
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders and leadership
- Provide clear updates on project status, risks, budgets, and timelines
- Lead project meetings and reporting activities
- Support operational teams during commissioning and transitions
Construction Oversight
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and safety
- Manage RFIs, change orders, and contractor performance
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings and permits
Project Closeout & Handover
- Oversee project closeout, punch lists, and final inspections
- Coordinate commissioning and transition to operations teams
- Ensure proper transfer of documentation, warranties, and maintenance plans
- Capture lessons learned to improve future project delivery
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience managing commercial construction or facility infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing projects from concept through completion
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction practices
- Experience with infrastructure systems including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
- Experience with manufacturing or laboratory buildouts and facility renovations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Tools & Systems
Experience with project management and construction tools such as:
- Microsoft Project
- Procore or similar platforms
- Primavera
- Bluebeam
- AutoCAD or BIM tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or highly regulated environments
- Certifications such as PMP, OSHA 30, PE, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

Pay Range: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
