Are you an Automation Engineer or Controls Engineer with PLC experience looking to join a highly automated manufacturing environment with strong long-term progression?

This is a great opportunity to join a global manufacturer operating advanced, high-speed production lines, where you will receive training on their systems and equipment.

The company is a global leader in manufacturing with strong U.S. operations and continued investment in automation, technology and workforce development. They offer long-term stability, technical training, and progression into more senior engineering or leadership roles over time.

This role is a backfill due to internal promotion into a Supervisor position, giving clear visibility of progression within the team.

This role suits an Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer, or PLC Engineer with Allen Bradley programming experience looking for a stable, hands‑on role with clear development opportunities.

The Role
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled automation systems (Allen Bradley)
  • Respond to breakdowns and complex fault finding across production lines
  • Support continuous improvement and engineering project work
  • Work closely with electrical and maintenance teams in a highly automated facility
  • Support high-speed manufacturing operations
  • 2-2-3 night shift (7pm-7am) with ~1-2 months day shift training
The Person
  • Background in automation, controls, or electrical engineering within manufacturing
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing (automotive, packaging, bottling, food & beverage, pharma, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Medium voltage / switch gear experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working a night shift pattern
