About this RoleWe are currently looking for students to work with our production teams. You should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast‑paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of Planning, Communication, Feedback. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work directly on production focusing on increasing efficiency and quality while utilizing your engineering education and continuous improvement mindset.
This team’s goal is to contribute to your development, as well as providing an opportunity to work in a business environment within the manufacturing industry.
- Drive lean methodology
- Data collection and analysis focus on standards and repeatability of current
- Video analysis of current process to analyze 3
Ms (Muri, Mura and Muda) - Assist line balancing projects
- Work with other departments to implement product and process changes.
- Support training session of Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Participate in project planning, implementation and improvements
- Works FI (Focus Improvement) Owner to promote the Culture of Continuous Improvement
- Support 5S activities
- Assist kaizens on the organization (assembly lines, logistic areas and quality area)
- Assist in Kaizen weeks
- Assist in follow‑up, reports and flow charts.
- Participate in functional meetings.
- Good attitude & continuous improvement mindset are critical to performing daily activities in this Lean Manufacture

Minimum Education and Program Requirements
- Applicant must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Engineering:
Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
- Applicants must have completed 30 semester hours before the internship starts and must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
- Interns may work up to 30 hours per week.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid US Work authorization.
