Who You Are:

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Premium Auditor who will be responsible for monitoring an outside vendor to ensure accurate auditing of policies for workers' compensation insurance. This role involves overseeing the vendor's audit processes, verifying classifications, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and review the outside vendor's audits of policyholders' financial records, including payroll, tax documents, and other relevant data.
• Verify the accuracy of payroll classifications and ensure compliance with state regulations and company guidelines.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to policyholders and internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to the vendor regarding audit procedures and requirements.
• Collaborate with underwriting and claims departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate premium calculations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, state regulations, and best practices related to workers' compensation insurance.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial information.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in premium auditing, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation insurance and state regulations is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
