We’re hiring a Personal Banker to join our Floating Central PA Team.

This position will float among the Central PA Group’s Financial Centers, which include:
Georgetown, Intercourse, Mechanicsburg, New Holland, Strasburg, Willow Street, and York. Mileage reimbursement is included.

This person is responsible for developing and maintaining a personal portfolio of prospects and customers and delivering exceptional service. Profiling customers to determine their needs, then cross‑selling appropriate products and services and/or referring customers to the integrated platform. They are responsible for providing a broad base of services, including deposit‑based, credit, investment and fee‑based products, with the goal of acquiring 100% of the customer’s business.

Develops and maintains relationships with Univest partners to maximize sales opportunities and achieve minimum sales standards. Proactively makes outbound sales calls to inform customers about a wide variety of financial services solutions that will meet their needs and deepen the customer experience and relationship. The incumbent will also be responsible to service customers at the teller line by completing a variety of financial transactions following technical and operational guidelines.

Branch hours (some locations may vary):

• Monday – Thursday: 8 am – 5 pm
• Friday: 8 am – 6 pm
• Saturday: 8 am – 12 pm (2‑3 per month required)

Position includes:

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately
• Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines
• Operate technology as required
• Supervision of teller operations
• Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authority
• Completion of the Excel Level 1 course and the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program
• Identify customer needs and cross‑sell opportunities to develop new business
• Develop working relationships with integrated partners
• Proactively initiate sales conversations
• Participate and manage tele‑consulting efforts
• Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and Services
• Leverage bank promotions
• Adhere to outlined sales flow
• Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures
• Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs
• Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels
