A well‑known financial services organisation headquartered in Pennsylvania is finally pulling the trigger on a transformation they've been planning for some time. They're moving off People Soft, which has been their backbone for HR, payroll, and finance for over a decade, and consolidating onto Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and Financials. The business has outgrown People Soft and the cost and complexity of maintaining it has become unsustainable.
Oracle Cloud was the clear choice after a thorough evaluation process.
What makes this interesting is the breadth of the programme. On the HCM side you're looking at Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting. On the Financials side it covers General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. There's a real need for someone who can bridge both work streams or go deep on one while understanding how they connect.
The business operates in a regulated environment so there's a strong emphasis on data integrity, audit trails, and control frameworks throughout the configuration. If you've worked in financial services before you'll know what that means in practice and that experience will be valued here.
What they need:
- Solid hands‑on Oracle Cloud HCM and/or Financials implementation experience
- People Soft migration background is highly desirable. Understanding what that data looks like and how it maps across to Fusion will save significant time
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment
- Strong documentation skills across functional design, configuration workbooks, and UAT scripts
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud touchpoints relevant to HR and Finance data flows
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Compliance
Based in Pennsylvania with a hybrid working model. Core hours EST.
