Job Overview
Join Hamilton Lane as an Associate on the Infrastructure and Real Assets Investment Team, based in Conshohocken, PA or Portland, OR. The role supports sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and monitoring of infrastructure and natural resource investments across minority directs, co‑investments, secondaries, and primaries.
Responsibilities- Assist in all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiations, and closing on minority directs, co‑investments, secondaries and primary fund investments.
- Guide Analysts in the due diligence process, and support senior team members with resource allocation and day‑to‑day investment analysis.
- Manage daily aspects of investment underwriting, overseeing the functional team and communicating with investment sponsors and clients.
- Complete special projects, including client projects, industry analysis and geographical studies.
- Create and maintain complex transaction models and distribution waterfalls.
- 3‑5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking transaction services, consulting, or commercial roles within data centres, fibre, renewable energy, utilities, transportation, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S., or B.B.A.) required.
- Strong quantitative and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strategic thinking abilities.
- Self‑directed, initiative‑driven, and able to manage a busy workload with flexibility to work more than 50 hours per week and occasionally on weekends.
- Commitment to contribute to the firm’s growth and accommodate an extended work schedule when necessary.
Up to 25% travel.
