Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our wonderful therapy team!

Located in beautifulNorth Wales, PA, our facility contains 270 long-term care beds, 54 short-term rehabilitation beds, and 48 apartments in our personal care unit.

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the leadership of our Director of Rehabilitation.

COTA
Job Responsibilities:

• The COTA will provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.

• The COTA will document progress in daily treatment notes and complete all required documentation as indicated by state guidelines.

• Document their treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members for best practice.

• Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.

• COTA will monitortheir treatments as indicated by the physician orders.

• Participate in implementation of resident care plans.

• Will work with interdisciplinary team to improve residents quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.

Education/Experience

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Occupational Therapist Assistance that AOTA recognizes.

• Must provide current license and/or registration as Occupational Therapist Assistant.

• Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.
