Position: Travel RN - Cath Lab - Electrophysiology (EP)
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an EP Lab position requiring both EP and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies, with Epic experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Invasive Cardiology unit featuring 4 dedicated Cardiac Cath Labs and 2 dedicated Electrophysiology (EP) Labs with 23 prep/recovery bays,

• Unit performs over 6,000 procedures per year including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implantation and explantation, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy,

• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM,

• Candidates must be willing to remain on shift until the last patient is cared for,

• Floating required on an as-needed basis,

• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements,

• Epic EMR experience required,

Job Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competency required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

Additional Information

• Candidates undergo a clinical review prior to manager interview to assess clinical fit,

• May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients,

• Maximum of 7 days of RTO for the duration of the contract,

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
