System Engineer

Bank of Bird-in-Hand is actively seeking a System Engineer to join our team in Paradise, PA. The System Engineer is responsible for understanding the technology and operating systems within the bank while maintaining network infrastructure.

• Manage and optimize Azure/Entra , Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams environments.
• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and applications.
• Work closely with the Information Security team to implement controls and ensure their consistent operation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated technical issues.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 technologies:
  Azure/Entra , Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent.
• Configuring and managing switches.
• Managing firewalls.
• Understanding TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper‑V.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems and network engineering roles.
