The Role

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Enterprise Architect. The Director of Enterprise Architecture & Technology Strategy is responsible for defining and governing the organization’s technology vision, architecture standards, and long-term strategic roadmap.
This leader ensures alignment between business objectives and technology investments, driving innovation, modernization, and operational excellence across the enterprise. This role bridges executive leadership, business units, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions that enable growth and competitive advantage.
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework (business, application, data, and infrastructure domains)
- Establish architecture standards, reference architecture, and governance processes
- Lead architecture review boards and ensure compliance across initiatives
- Drive simplification, standardization, and technical debt reduction
- Develop and execute a multi-year technology strategy aligned to business goals
- Translate business priorities into actionable architecture and investment plans
- Identify emerging technologies and assess their business impact
- Lead modernization initiatives (cloud, data platforms, AI, security, etc.)
- Partner with executive leadership (CIO, CTO, CISO, business leaders) to shape strategy
- Act as a trusted advisor on technology investments and trade-offs
- Ensure architecture supports customer experience, revenue growth, and operational efficiency
- Evaluate and rationalize technology vendors and platforms
- Drive strategic partnerships with key providers (cloud, security, SaaS)
- Avoid vendor sprawl and optimize total cost of ownership
- Build and lead a high-performing enterprise architecture team
- Define roles, skills, and career paths for architects
- Establish federated or centralized EA operating models as appropriate
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- 12–15+ years in IT, with significant experience in enterprise architecture or technology strategy
- Proven leadership experience managing senior architects or cross-functional teams
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectures
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data architecture, and enterprise systems
- Experience driving large-scale transformation initiatives
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Background in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government)
- Experience with AI/ML, data platforms, or digital transformation programs
- Alignment of technology investments with business outcomes
- Reduction in technical debt and platform complexity
- Increased adoption of standard architectures and platforms
- Improved speed of delivery and time-to-market
- Cloud and platform cost optimization
- Measurable improvements in security posture and resilience
Compensation Range – $179,760 to $341,520 (US). The final compensation may vary based on geography, job‑related skills, and experience.
