We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect & Administrator to lead the design, implementation, governance, and administration of a modern enterprise data platform built on Microsoft Fabric.
This role combines strategic data architecture with hands‑on platform administration, ensuring a secure, scalable, and AI‑ready data ecosystem that enables enterprise‑wide analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, and modern data engineering practices while driving governance, security, performance optimization, and platform adoption across the organization.
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Analytics.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, or extensive expertise in Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
- Strong proficiency in:
- PySpark and Notebook development
- T‑SQL
- DAX
- Delta Lake architecture
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise‑scale One Lake architectures.
- Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Hands‑on experience with Data Factory Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Fabric Lake houses/Warehouses.
- Expertise in Power BI Semantic Models, Direct Lake, and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, security, compliance, and data lifecycle management.
- Experience with CI/CD implementation, Git integration, and Dev Ops practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Manage and administer the Microsoft Fabric tenant, including tenant configuration, auditing, and governance.
- Monitor and optimize Fabric Capacity (F‑SKUs) to balance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement and manage security controls including:
- Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Row‑Level Security (RLS)
- Object‑Level Security (OLS)
- Design and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and compliance standards.
- Integrate and manage Microsoft Purview for data cataloging, lineage tracking, and governance.
- Establish proactive monitoring, alerting, logging, and auditing using Azure Log Analytics.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, workload contention, and capacity optimization opportunities.
- Design and oversee enterprise‑wide One Lake architecture to eliminate data silos and improve data accessibility.
- Lead implementation of Medallion Architecture using Fabric Lake houses and Warehouses.
- Design scalable data ingestion and orchestration frameworks using Data Factory Pipelines and Dataflows Gen

- Optimize semantic models and Direct Lake implementations to support near real‑time analytics.
- Establish best practices and standards for data engineering teams to maximize platform efficiency and minimize capacity consumption.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based deployment processes across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Establish governance standards and best practices for Power BI self‑service analytics.
- Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to business users and technical teams.
- Collaborate with offshore teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure successful platform adoption and delivery.
