A well-established manufacturing business is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support day-to-day production for CNC machining centers and CNC lathe assembly
. You’ll drive lean / continuous improvement
, support ISO 9001 standardization
, and deliver practical engineering solutions across CNC programming support, routing development, assembly process improvement, and tooling/fixture design
. Manufacturing Engineer
- Assure product and process quality by developing testing methods, standards, and documentation
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes across fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials
- Lead production improvement and cost-reduction initiatives using Lean methods (5S, Standard Work, DMAIC, Material Flow)
- Support or lead new product releases from Product Engineering into Manufacturing
- Coordinate and implement engineering changes across engineering, assembly, and quality teams
- Develop and refine manufacturing methods/equipment by researching, designing, modifying, and testing processes
- Improve efficiency through workflow, space planning, and equipment layout analysis
- Maintain product/process databases and support manufacturing documentation
- Train and guide technicians to implement improved processes Manufacturing Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology (or related degree/experience)
- 3+ years CAD/CAM experience (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works, Mastercam, Smartcam, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of CNC machine programming
- Strong leadership, written/verbal communication, and solid understanding of manufacturing processes
- Project management capability Manufacturing Engineer
- 3–5 years experience in CNC machine assembly/manufacturing
- ERP experience (JD Edwards preferred) Manufacturing Engineer
