This role oversees and is responsible for prompt and efficient service to our customers, maintains an acceptable degree of profitability for our company and utilizes the workforce in a manner within customer specifications.

• Will travel to different sites throughout the US for a few days at a time to understand the business, train and onboard (will work remotely when not traveling to sites).
• In the future, will be required to relocate to an assigned site determined by leadership.
• Implementing and coordinating training and safety objectives.
• Establishing and meeting production and financial goals.
• Scheduling of plant personnel.
• Maintaining clear dialogue with the customer to determine customer needs and services required.
• Developing a financial plan that achieves company and plant goals, developing a capital budget.
• Administering discipline concerning the violation of company rules and regulations.
• Overseeing plant purchasing, plant/equipment maintenance, and plant/equipment repairs and parts.
• Directing all workforce personnel and functions, maintaining and overseeing all daily operations of the plant, and direct and indirect supervision of all plant personnel and staff.

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on materials management, production, or engineering.
• Previous responsibilities of purchasing, producing, inventory control, production control, engineering, shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
• Three to five years experience managing staff.
• Previous experience with profit and loss responsibility.
• Working knowledge of contract administration and safety/environmental compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
• Experience in manufacturing, steel industry, or a similar environment.
• Proven track record of improving safety performance and goals.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
